General Statement:
ASSET is a private, not-for-profit (501[c](4) organization of private businesses, farms and individuals with more than 800 members across multiple states advocating for the change in estate tax collection methodology. The primary purpose of the organization is non-partisan activity focused on educating the general public and their elected representatives about the need for simplification of the Federal Estate tax regulations.
Position Summary:
The ASSET Grassroots Internship (AGI) supports ASSET’s activities related to growth and development of the ASSET membership network with the aim of changing the estate tax collection method. The AGI works for the President of ASSET and helps identify and recruits potential members, and helps to manage the ASSET database of members. Excellent writing skills are a must as communication is the key to successful recruitment and maintaining of the membership. Must have a proficient knowledge of social media and web search functions.
